They provide zero shade. Like two species rely on them for nutrients. Their “wood” (if you can call it that) is functionally worthless. The fronds aren’t compostable - literally no one wants them because they fuck up processing equipment. They’re the worst tree in every definition of the word. What is wrong with you?
