When I read shit like this I think of Trump tearing down the East Wing. He didn’t do this personally. Multiple people had to agree and execute.
For example; I managed a reprographics shop. We would have flat refused to make signage such as these plaques. Not because management was woke, we simply wouldn’t handle toxic messaging. Somewhere in DC is a shop that said, “Fuck it, the money matters more than morals.” Same for the demolition company.
I was a park service employee when this administration began and the back breaking speed everyone bent over and let Trump have his way was disgusting.
I’m talking entire HR departments working fucking COMP TIME (not even OT) just to make sure their colleagues are fired as quickly as possible. Like damn policy allows you to take up to 3 sick days no questions, call out and let people have a few more days of pay.
Everyone with a conscience in leadership instead of trying to resist just resigned day one. The rest fell in line.
