15·1 month agoLots of international manufacturers skip model numbers 4 and 9 because of Asian superstitions. Silly, yes, but they affect sales and even birth rates.
At least in Japanese, 4 sounds like “death” and 9 sounds like “suffering”.
They just let you do it.
