  • You’re a more hopeful, prosocial and perhaps overall better man than me, then. Were I in your position, I would’ve just gone somewhere else, somewhere a bit less crazy, and planted the trees over there. I cannot think of a viable alternative to the current system, no, and I think many people are too far gone for us to engage with them and try to build something together. Maybe in some decades, but not today. I guess Americans need Americans like you? Anyway, what an informed and invigorating post. Hope things go okay for you and your loved ones. 🙏

  • Who are you voting for, out of curiosity? A group of people who have been known to be bought by capitalists or some other party? And do you think that group could reach power even if they did win?

No, thinking that the same system that put you here (amongst other things like an ideological and moral vacuum) will in any way serve your interests is silly and a waste of time. Same with protests in America tbh (the biggest protest ever in Burgerland was the one against the Iraq/Afghanistan wars IIRC and that shit still happened, lol): you’re allowed to do so so you feel like you’re doing something, but the people in power have the guns and a third of the country if not more is complete human garbage who are more than happy to enforce state power even if it means shooting their neighbour in the face. Remember: it’s an empire built on slave labour, the founding fathers were white supremacist rapists, so no, nothing is new and the system is working as intended, people were just willfully ignorant until the empire came for them too, and now they’re panicking.

  • I don’t think he’s the reason for things. The American empire has been in blatant decay for a decade now (due to corruption at every level, mostly) and other countries have been rising as regional powers. The anational capitalists who control America and have politicians of both sides of the false dichotomy/bad cop good cop routine in their pockets understand they have to play a different game than the one championed by the MIC if they want to maximise profits. As such, America will change from a heavily propagandised, hedonistic and amoral consumer base and arm of Western imperialism to a heavily propagandised slave base and arm of anational global capitalism. You just can’t exploit foreigners as easily as you could before. Donald Trump, the great white hope, the comedian, is simply the right man for the job so he was supported by everyone except the neocons/MIC dickriders (Biden is here) because everyone benefits from American collapse (the Russians and Chinese included, ofc, not just American oligarchs) besides the American population. And this happened not because Trump cast a spell on people but because enough Americans are stupid, amoral, self-centered and overall horrible human beings, that’s all. All your villains are your neighbours! You’re not getting colonized by an external power, you’re getting colonized by Bob and Jimmy, lol. So no, Trump is not the reason, the people, the state of the American empire and the desire of the global controllers of financialised capital are. Trump is just the distraction and scapegoat, a distracting and disorienting clown, the actor given the lines he needs to say to keep spinning it all.

And, btw, nothing that’s happening in America is even 1% of what it has done outside of it, or what it did to the natives and Africans. Expect more, because the empire has learned well, throughout the years and “different” administrations. This is nothing but the empire going hungry and cannibalising itself because those it used to feed upon can now fight a little.

And, finally, If you’re just gonna pass the ball to the Dems because you think “well, at least when they were in power the deaths and uncertainty were happening mostly outside than in” you’re both silly and immoral. This project will continue, there’s no stopping this train, because the people truly in power have enough money to buy any politician and the blue ones don’t have any more morals than the red ones, they’re just whores waiting for a good payday. At least tell me you’re going to vote for a group with proven morals and no support from big corporations and asset management firms (if they exist). 🥲

  • “Immigration crackdown”: filling for-profit prisons and going all in on modern slavery. And, like I’ve said before, the empire’s moves are bi-partisan, and what you see as differing stances come from disagreements between groups of organized capital that bribe all of these politicians but they’re mostly small (the MIC wants war wherever it can be done [and selling war in the Middle East or Asia is easier than in Europe, although now we’re going there…] so they can sell their stock but the Gulf countries bribe Trump against it so they can have stability in the region/more power in the region, for example, but every capitalist in the country makes money from a more desperate or even enslaved workforce) and overall the internal moves are very predictable and should break the illusion of the narratives for anyone who’s not too attached to the “good cop” or “bad cop”.

PS: Calling yourself God is, at least, a faux pas. 😕

  • You have to have been absent from the world and basically just a brain in a vat that was just turned on to somehow believe in the idea of the “moral, altruistic, genius, persecuted and taken advantage of” greedy and proud capitalist when reality shows the entire opposite: the selfless have nothing, often not even their lives, the rich ones took from everyone, often even their lives. I liked Atlas Shrugged and felt like a real smart cookie halfway in when I was in my early teens reading it in my living room but the characters had already felt a bit, uh, unrealistic and then the monologue/rant came about and it was just ehhhhh. My favourite philosophical exploration/manifesto is the one in Dune, it doesn’t even feel blurted out because it’s in every book, in every page even, you just absorb it. 👍
