Ha, my system is exactly identical! I really have no reason to upgrade, besides maybe 5950X/5900XT for more cores for compiling software (I run Gentoo on it). Can’t justify that though because it’s more of a sidegrade, and they’re all out of stock now that AM4 is back in style.
My 6900XT is a slightly-cheaper-than-6950XT frankenstein with the 6950XT full chip but 6900XT clocked VRAM. It’s so efficient. The fans don’t even spin for some games. There’s nothing it can’t play at max settings, but I’m also rendering at 1600x1200 (or less for specific older titles) on a CRT.
I got ripped off years ago on a 1440p monitor from amazon that turned out to be 1080p, so at 1080p I doubt there is anything my nice card can not handle right now (and in the next few years at least).
