    As far as I’m concerned “makes good decisions” is a better qualification than “made a career out of running for office”

        Not being so power hungry as to choose politics as a career thereby losing touch with the rest of society is a damn good start

        And how would you know if they would “make good decisions” in that job?

        Idk maybe they could spend a few months telling us their ideas, and then the people could go and pick the candidate they like the most, like some sort of election

              If they’ve held office before then you’ll know from their track record what they are like without needing to trust the campaign trail blather.
