Trump said at a Texas gathering on Feb. 27 that he was considering nominating Republican Sen. Ted Cruz for a future seat on the U.S. Supreme Court, although Cruz last month said he was not interested.

Trump, introducing Cruz at a rally in Corpus Christi, called the Texas Republican “an amazing guy,” joking that he would easily win confirmation from Democrats and Republicans in Congress alike because they wanted to get him out of the Senate.

“He’s the only guy I know, he’ll get 100% of the Democrat vote, 100% of the Republican vote. They want to get him out of there. He is such a pain in the a–, but he’s so good and so talented.”

Here’s the thing you have to understand about Ted Cruz, I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz."

Fuck Gillibrand for demanding him to go, based on a Republican orchestrated scheme against Al Franken!
She was the main reason he never got a fair chance.

Not really, it was a mix of knee jerk reactions and political opportunity and a lot of cowardice, because they were afraid to back up Al Franken.

        The Case of Al Franken

Best article I’ve seen about how Schmuck Schumer and Kristin Gillibrand stabbed Al Franken in the back, to clear the decks for her presidential campaign, which flamed out in about 2 weeks. She destroyed a great man’s career for nothing.

I will strongly support any candidate who primaries Schmuck and Gillibrand.

So many came out to back up and defend Gillibrand even after it turned out what she started was a HUGE mistake, and she never pulled back or apologized AFAIK!
Complete scumbag politician, sacrificing one of her own in an attempt to get ahead, and she is fucking still in congress, it’s disgusting. 🤮
