In the nicest way possible, it’s extremely naive to expect that the law makers currently benefitting from this wave of facism are going to make laws that actively hinder them from doing so.
You need a much more honest and socialist government before you get anything close to this ideal.
Before even that, laws don’t stop fascism. if they did, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
You need a critical mass of fascists in power to start ignoring the laws like they are. These, if managed to pass, would prevent a lot of them from getting and staying in to begin with, if properly enforced.
It’s not a magic fix on it’s own, but it’s a necessary preventative measure.

These are well done. This gives state lawmakers the chance to either support common sense changes or go on record supporting fascism. Even in a red state like mine, I could see enough disgruntled Republicans supporting these to pass them. If they have souls, anyway.

These laws are for state governments to enact. Congress won’t do it, but blue states might if they grow spines.

Except they won’t, because their masters don’t want them to. If you think this is a spine problem then consider this: Would state governments capitulate so readily if Trump was a leftwing authoritarian promising to abolish private property? My point applies as much to state legislatures as it does to Congress, because while MAGA is a Republican project fascism is bipartisan.

Except it’s not, because that’s not its purpose. The point of Congress is to pass laws for the good of the rich; expecting it to help average people without a (optionally metaphorical) gun to their head completely misunderstands American politics.
We have a shit load of laws designed to prevent fascism. They aren’t preventing fascism.
